The rooms are well-kept and well-equipped with an obstructed view of the surrounding area and a king bed, as example.

Pet-friendly rooms, I had very good experience.
The breakfast was above average and particularly good with a great selection of good food on offer. Location: the hotel was close enough to having one of the houses with extended family, the coffee shop and mountain and river.

I enjoyed the fine views of the Cascade Mountains from our room. The lodge's grand design and spacious common areas felt cute and easy to navigate.
Housekeeping could be more attentive and thorough.

I spent most of my time walking the trails and enjoyed relaxing in the area. I enjoyed the variety of outdoor activities available and spent time visiting nearby restaurants. This getaway offered a nice break from everyday life, and I appreciated the quiet setting. I always find comfort in nature when traveling, and this trip was no different.
I had some challenges with cleanliness in my room. The staff seemed a bit stretched. I noticed longer waits at the restaurant. I expected quicker service .

great access to parks and trails for city exploration
While the room we stayed in offered a cozy fireplace which was nice for family evenings, the restaurant experience could use some improvement with the quality of food being a little lacking for its price.

missingWrote a review on 11 Julcleanliness issues
Cleanliness could use some serious attention, particularly with carpets that had stains and dirt, which undermined the overall comfort of the stay. There were also issues with key cards not working upon arrival, leading to annoying delays, and the restaurant menu felt restrictive, limiting options for dining in the area. If you're looking for a room with a river view, be prepared for potential obstructions like mossy roofs ruining the view from balconies-this was frustrating after a lengthy check-in process.

The fine views from the river-facing suite were a highlight, complemented by comfortable bedding and warm service. The food at Swiftwater restaurant was delicious, with favorite menu items like bacon being a highlight. The costs were steep, and there were several unaccommodating policies that detracted from the experience, especially regarding equipment usage for events. Lastly, the sound insulation was poor, as we could hear barking from neighboring rooms, impacting our quiet moments.
